CONCEPTUALIZATION OF “ENVIRONMENTAL CONSCIOUSNESS” IN SOCIOHUMANITARIAN DISCIPLINES

Abstract

The article examines the main approaches to the definition of environmental
consciousness in philosophy, psychology, culture and history. Sociology specifi city is determined by interpretation of environmental consciousness. The author determines the
ecological consciousness that takes into account the experience of building sciences colleges,
despite of the given interdisciplinary concept that includes three main components that lie
within a value fi eld.
