CERCIDOSPORA EPIPOLYTROPA (MUDD) ARNOLD IN THE UKRAINIAN CARPATHIANS

Abstract

The herbarium specimen of Lecanora polytropa (Ehrh.) Rabenh. with lichenicolous fungi was collected in the Ukrainian Carpathians, Petros Mt. (Chornohora Mts.) during summer 2011. The detail investigations of the specimen revealed investigated lichenicolous fungi to belong to Cercidospora epipolytropa (Mudd) Arnold – a new species for Ukraine. The detail description of the mentioned species, distribution data, cited herbarium specimen and basic difference between similar species are given.
