Abstract
The article deals with the analysis of expression of the cultural and historical
component in the epistolary text of M. M. Kotsyubynskyi. It has been stated that the
cultural and historical component is expressed in two aspects, namely the linguistic and
the culturological ones, and it contains important cultural and historical information
about a certain epoch.
